Lil Wayne says, “Long hair don’t care” but I, say the title above. I love to see women rocking fully shaved heads. I have always wanted to shave off all of my hair and be as free as the wind. Unfortunately, I do not have the face or head for that. I remember when I was transitioning to natural hair, I asked my sister-in-law to shave off all of my hair. I could not deal with my new growth and my relaxed hair. The two textures were in a tangled war and my hair was a tangled mess. She declined my request because she said I would regret it. Thank God she did because I couldn’t even handle the natural hair that she left me with after she cut off my relaxed hair. I had enough hair to braid but my hair was still too short for my liking. I could not wait for my hair to grow longer. I was really embarrassed and I hid in kinky twists for months. ANYWAYS, even though a fully shaved head will not work for me, I still admire the women that can rock it.

I met her during my last trip to Ghana, winter of 2012. She is absolutely beautiful & very nice.
After posting pictures of ALL these beautiful ladies, I realized that any woman could rock a fully shaved head. It’s all about having CONFIDENCE as opposed to having a certain kind of face or head.
Would you ever rock a fully shaved head? Have you ever shaved off all of your hair? What was that experience like for you?
Please leave me a comment below and let me know.
Thank you for reading and God bless you 🙂

On Labor day, 2010– while living in Atlanta, I went to a place called “Super Cuts” where my hair was shaved to my liking and the next day shaved even more and lightly colored to my loving! 🙂
Never had I felt so liberated and beautiful in adult life until then in the physically sense of course. It was easy to manage and the many compliments took a lot of get use to, as would be thinking Im sorry: we’re you talking to me? Lol –I am currently not cutting my hair yet not wearing it out to work because of the time it would take me to styled in a way I loved for work. To conclude, I would leave saying this: if any woman feels strongly about shaving their head; it should be given a strong consideration for the liberation that comes with it– is beyond what might be expected of course when worn with confidence. 🙂
Thanks so much Shirley for reading my post and sharing your experience. You looked absolutely GORGEOUS with your shaved head. No matter what hairstyle you are rocking, you always look good! 🙂
it is so tempting to try it after seeing all theses beautiful women rocking their shaved head but i dont think i am there yet …but maybe ….. great post!!
Hey Bebe! I agree, it is tempting but I also don’t think I’m there yet. However, I won’t rule it out. Thank you so much for reading and for all your support 🙂
I love it.. I will be that bold one day. It takes a special kind of woman to be able to be “naked” without hiding behind her hair.
Hey Vanisha, it does take a special kind of woman to be “naked” without hiding behind her hair. Well said and thank you very much for reading 🙂
I didn’t know that Tasha Smith had an identical sister! Off topic I know but I really didn’t know that lol
As for me, nah. I don’t think I could rock it. I don’t believe I have the head or face to truly do it. Nevertheless, many women just look downright gorgeous with it like you have posted above.
Lol girl you are not alone. When I first saw Sidra, I was with my cousins and they immediately referenced “Why Did I Get Married?” They thought she was Tasha Smith because they didn’t know she was a twin. They were so shocked, it was pretty funny..lol I always knew she had a twin because I saw them on the red carpet together and I knew Sidra had a fully shaved head.
Thank you for reading my post and sharing your opinion 🙂

Hey guys I’m Latina and have been suffering from androgenetic alopecia since I was 14. I’m far from having the long locks of Jennifer Lopez or Sofia Vergara. Now I’m 22 and finally get closer to shaving my whole head. I have an undercut now and eventually before graduation I’m going to shave it all. The thing is I’m met with some disgust by other people when I saw I want to shave it all off. I’m super happy I found this site because these women look amazing and unique. I’m scared of what people will think but the freedom that many people are describing here seem worth it.
Go for it, if that’s what you want to do. Don’t worry about other people and their opinions of it, you can’t please everyone. If they don’t like the idea of it, oh well.
