I saw the film 12  Years A Slave  last night and it co-starred this beauty of an actress. She played the role of Patsy. She did a great job. She is so pretty! Check out her lovely pictures below.

Last week’s Naturalista Files: Adepero Oduye also has a role in 12 Years a Slave, she plays Eliza. Side note: Her daughter in the film is such a cute naturalista.

I haven’t been to the movies since last April because $12.50 is TOO much money and I always fall asleep. However, I heard nothing but GREAT reviews of this film so I had to show my support. Plus I love black history. I have never heard of Solomon Northup ( the man who the movie is based on) or his book 12 Years A Slave. Now I want to read his book. I think the movie is important and I am glad that I saw it. I went to the 9:00pm show last night and the theater was PACKED. All in all, I would recommend this film.
