Caribbean Live
This reggae summer series features a number of full band reggae concerts and highlights the spectrum of reggae music over the years. Artists such as Beres Hammond, Luciano, and Chronixx will be featured. Caribbean Live envisions promoting diversity and raising Caribbean cultural awareness.

Ethiopian Pianist Girma Yifrashewa at Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club
Ethiopian pianist and composer Girma Yifrashewa will celebrate the release of his new solo piano album, Love and Peace, with a live performance. The album features Girma’s arrangement of The Shepherd with the Flute as well as his own compositions based on traditional Ethiopian melodies, such as Ambassel, Chewata, Sememen, and his favorite Elilta.
