Brookside Gardens

I went to Brookside Gardens in Wheaton,MD with my BFF this past Saturday. It was freezing but I still enjoyed myself. It’s a nice place to visit in early fall and during spring. It’s a good place for kids, couples, families and friends.  I love gardens and nature walks {even though they make me itch sometimes}. Unfortunately, fall is coming to an end and it feels like winter in MD. It’s also starting to look like winter. The leaves are falling, the trees look bare and ashy. However, at Brookside Gardens, there is a Conservatory House that is “heated” and houses tropical plants. It also houses seasonal displays in autumn, spring and summer.  The glass house conservatory is nice but pretty small so its not worth going to Brookside just to see that alone. Its just best to go and see everything when its warm and blooming outside.  I cannot wait to visit again in the spring. Check out some pictures below that I took with my iPhone inside of the conservatory glass-house

These bananas were so cute and tiny. The picture actually makes them look bigger.

Traces of fall, barely hanging on.

ImageEven though it was cold, there were other people outside walking. I guess we were all trying to savor the last days of fall 🙂
