I love this HUMONGOUS Afro ❤ Love, love love!!

My painting came packaged with a hand painted bookmark, and a thank you card 🙂

Got her framed!! 🙂

Now please don’t come for me and call me corny. But last November, on my 25th birthday, I was walking in my room high on life when I noticed that I looked like Magalie’s painting. So I posed the following question to myself, “Does art imitate life or does life imitate art?” And then I took a picture with my iPhone as I posed this question to myself. *chuckles*
(Pause)
I will let you ponder on that. #judgeme #judgeaway
ANYWHO, I sent my picture to Magalie and she loved it. She told me I looked like her painting which is such a compliment to me! She also took the time to answer the questions below for me.
Hello, please state your name and where you are from?
My name is Magalie Foster. I am from Haiti and reside in Houston TX.
What inspires your paintings?
My inspiration come from life, people , my heritage, which sometimes shows in my work. I have a wide variety in my background which allows me to paint what comes to me .
About how long does it take for you to complete a painting?
It takes a day two days to paint a picture but it depends on what’s going on in my life .
How would you describe your artwork?
I describe my work as more eclectic , ethnic, soulful, island style , jazzy, and sensual.
Where can we purchase and or view more of your work at?
I now have my work up in my website , but I soon update into a newer fresher website that will also include other passions of mine , but for now the site is
www.blackeyepeacreations.com
